If you’re trying to uninstall Hamachi v1, and are encountering the error message :

Uninstall encountered a problem that prevents it from completing the removal of Hamachi. The appilcation will now exit.

Here’s a fix.

• Download Hamachi v 1.0.1.5 (not Hamachi v2)
  • You can find it on the internet archive
  • You can also find copies of it out on the internet : http://www.google.com/search?q=HamachiSetup-1.0.1.5-en.exe
• Install Hamachi v 1.0.1.5
  • Choose the existing Hamachi directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Hamachi) for the installation
• After installing Hamachi 1.0.1.5, don’t launch it.
• Now Uninstall Hamachi 1.0.1.5 either through the link in the start menu or add/remove programs
• This will fully remove Hamachi
