The Book
RHCE Red Hat Certified Engineer Linux Study Guide (Exam RH302) (Certification Press)
Schedule
I’ll layout the schedule here, but mind you this is flexible. It’s totally possible that we’ll start meeting and we’ll fly through the material much faster than I’m expecting in which case we can reduce the number of classes, or reduce the length of time we meet. Also I don’t have my book yet so the section layout may change as well since some sections may be shorter or longer than others.

Where
The Ask.com building in downtown Oakland.
555 12th St. Oakland, CA 94607
Parking on the street is metered up until 6pm so you should be able to find street parking. There is a garage diagonal from the Ask.com building at the corner of 12th & Jefferson that is relatively inexpensive. You can also BART in. Get off at 12th Street Oakland City Center, then walk west down 12th St. towards Clay St. If you come to Franklin, you’re walking the wrong direction on 12th. 555 12th is one block from the BART station on the corner of Clay St & 12th.
We’ll meet in a the “Melrose Place” conference room on the 11th floor. You can access the 11th floor by using the left-most of the 3 elevator banks. When you step out on the 11th floor you’ll see one door that’s closed and locked and another door that’s open and leads into an empty lobby. The glass windowed conference room that runs the length of the lobby is “Melrose Place”
