This is my 32” Sony Trinitron TV. It’s 9 years old and it stopped working about 6 months ago. The problem manifests in two ways.
The first is that sometimes when you power the TV on, where the standby light would normally blink about 4 times and then the picture would come up, the standby light just blinks forever and the picture never comes up.
The second is that while the TV is on and working the picture will swing up and off the top of the screen.
Outside of this the tv works great. From talking to some TV repair shops it would be about $175 to have them repair it. I imagine that if you wanted to do-it-yourself the parts would makeup a small amount of that cost (mostly labor). Note : This TV weighs 143 lbs. I can lift it with another person to get it to your car, but you’ll need yourself and another person on the other end to unload it.
The TV has two inputs, one which takes S-Video or Composite RCA and the other which takes just Composite RCA. Both accept stereo RCA audio inputs. The TV also accepts Coax input and output for your old style VCR or Cable TV.
